THE WEDDING

The ceremony will be held outdoors,
followed immediately by a cocktail hour on the lawn.
Afterward, we’ll move indoors for the reception—
all at the same beautiful venue.
TRAVEL
We’re so excited to celebrate with you in beautiful Montecito, California. Montecito is located along the Santa Barbara coast, about 90 miles north of Los Angeles. While it feels like a peaceful getaway, it’s easily accessible by several airports.
Santa Barbara Airport (SBA)
Approximately 15 minutes from Montecito Club. SBA is small, easy to navigate, and closest to all wedding events. Flights may be limited, so book early if possible.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
Approximately 1.5–2 hours away, depending on traffic. LAX offers the most flight options and is a good choice if you plan to rent a car or extend your stay.
Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR)
Approximately 1.75–2.25 hours away. A smaller and often calmer alternative to LAX.
LOCAL TRANSPORT
RIDESHARE
Ride-hailing options like Uber and Lyft are widely used throughout the area and are typically the quickest way to get around, especially later in the evening. There are also regular taxi services available — both at the airport and around town — and you can schedule pickups in advance if needed.
SANTA BARBARA TROLLEY / SHUTTLE
Santa Barbara often has free shuttle or trolley options operating on summer weekends connecting downtown, the waterfront, and popular visitor areas. We’ll share updated details closer to the wedding date if any complimentary shuttles or trolleys will be running during our weekend.
PACIFIC SURFLINER
For guests coming from Orange County or Los Angeles, the train is an easy, scenic, and stress-free way to get to Santa Barbara. Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner runs multiple times daily between San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara, with stops at Irvine, Anaheim, and other OC stations. The Santa Barbara Station is located right downtown near the waterfront, making it easy to walk or rideshare once you arrive.
ACCOMMODATIONS
September is peak-season in Santa Barbara, and hotels are already very quickly booking up. We strongly encourage guests to reserve accommodations as soon as possible to ensure availability and preferred rates.
Below are a few hotel options we love, ranging from beachfront stays near downtown Santa Barbara to more budget-friendly choices. All options are a short drive to our venue, Montecito Club.

HOTEL CALIFORNIAN
Located in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone, Hotel Californian is a luxury coastal hotel with Spanish-inspired design, excellent dining, and easy access to the beach, wine tasting rooms, and downtown.

HARBOR VIEW INN
Located right next door to Hotel Californian, Harbor View Inn is a great option if you’d like to stay close to the action at a more affordable price point. It offers comfortable accommodations, ocean views, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere—just steps from the beach and downtown Santa Barbara.

MAR MONTE HOTEL
Located along the coast on Cabrillo Street, Mar Monte offers a laid-back, beachy vibe with ocean views and easy access to the waterfront and very close to Montecito! What is the dress code?
Black Tie is encouraged.
What does "Black Tie encouraged" mean?
We kindly ask guests to dress in formal evening attire that matches the elegance of the Montecito Club.
For men, this means a tuxedo or a formal dark suit with a tie or bow tie.
For women, something floor-length is recommended; a gown, formal cocktail dress, or elegant eveningwear is perfect.
We encourage guests to embrace the occasion and dress to complement the setting and celebratory atmosphere!
